A Chartered Accountant, Michael Burhala CA began his career as a technical advisor with the Australian Taxation Office in Moonee Ponds, whilst completing his final year of university. After excelling in this role for over a year, Michael Burhala CA accepted a graduate position with a boutique accounting practice in Carlton, Douglas Clark Associates, where he became the Audit Manager and Senior Business Services Accountant until the practice dissolved due to the sad and sudden passing of one of the two Partners. Michael Burhala CA then took the next step in his professional life and founded MWB Accountants in Collins Street, Melbourne in 2010. MWB Accountants prides itself on bringing a flexible approach to each and every engagement, ensuring that all of its client are treated as individuals and given the most effective service possible. The company excels in business development, Australian Tax Office disputes, and general accountancy. Its fixed billing practices mean that it can provide superior service and focus on building lasting relationships with its clients. Michael Burhala CA earned a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from La Trobe University and a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) from Melbourne High School. In his free time, he enjoys playing football at a competitive level and keeping fit at the gym.
